Shahid Labbafinejad hospital was established 1981 and started long-term development plan while Iran was in the war. During those years this center was developing the variety of services, with high tech medical equipment.
In academic field, more than 500 students are training by leading more than 70 teachers and professors annually.
Currently this healthcare center has more than 200 beds, and that help patients with about 800 personnel and 74 university professors that are quite skilled and experienced and are responsible for training assistants, fellowships and interns.
The outpatient services of this center are located in a building with an area of 20000including specialized clinics, general surgery, lung, endocrinology, nephrology, eye, radiology, kidney transplant, pain clinic, Lasik, stone crusher, laboratory, pharmacy, and ECG.
The impatient departments of this hospital operate in a space of 23000 which includes departments like emergency, infectious, heart, lung, urology, kidney transplant, ophthalmology, nephrology, ICU and CCU. Also, three research centers that affiliated to Labafinejad hospital in the fields of kidney, eye and infectious diseases have carried out extensive clinical researches over the last few years.
